Privacy Policy

The short version
Your swing videos never leave your iPhone. When you mark a swing, ThreeOne opens the video you picked, lets you tap three frames, and keeps only those three timestamps. There is no account, no sign-up, and no server that receives your videos, your measurements, or your wrist motion.
What stays on your device
- Videos. A video you choose is copied into the app's temporary storage for the marking session and deleted when you finish. The original stays in your Photos library. ThreeOne never uploads a video.
- Measurements and history. Your ratios, sessions, presets and streak are stored only on your iPhone.
- Wrist motion. With the Apple Watch app, motion is analyzed on the Watch. The few seconds of motion around each swing travel only to your paired iPhone, where they stay until you delete them. Sharing them with anyone is a step you take yourself from Settings.
Apple Health
The Watch app runs your practice as a golf workout so it can keep measuring while your wrist is down. If you allow it, that workout is saved to Apple Health on your devices. ThreeOne reads nothing from Apple Health.
What we collect
- Purchase data. Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage access; RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase receipts. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
- Usage analytics. We collect anonymous usage events (for example, that a measurement was completed and which band the ratio fell in, never the video or the exact numbers) through Amplitude and Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which features help people and to fix problems.
- Session recordings. To see where people get stuck, we record how sessions unfold through Amplitude's session replay: the screens you open and the taps you make. All text is masked on your device before anything is sent, and the video player is hidden from the recording, so it shows the shape of a session rather than what you were looking at.
- Advertising measurement. If you allow tracking in the iOS prompt, we use Apple's and Google's advertising frameworks to measure which ads bring people to ThreeOne. If you decline, the app works identically.
What we never collect
No videos, no motion recordings, no contacts, no location, no health records. ThreeOne does not read Apple Health data.
Retention and your rights
On-device data lives until you delete the app or its data. Anonymous analytics are retained by our providers per their standard windows. You can request deletion of purchase records tied to your anonymous ID by contacting us.
Children
ThreeOne is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
